As part of Women’s Month, Pharu Analytics, in collaboration with Symnetics, Fundación Kodea, and PreIngeniería UC, is organizing the Hackathon Junior: Chicas Superpoderosas. This event, designed to inspire girls and young women aged 12 to 18 to explore technology, creativity, and teamwork, will take place on Saturday, March 22, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the San Joaquín UC Campus. Participants will come together to tackle challenges in sustainability, inclusive education, digital transformation, digital health, and financial inclusion.
Throughout the day, the girls will work in teams with the support of expert mentors in technology and innovation, in an accessible and stimulating environment that will help them develop their skills and potential. The initiative aims to encourage future generations of women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), highlighting the importance of reducing gender gaps in the tech sector.
Pharu Analytics and Symnetics are making this event possible alongside Fundación Kodea, which promotes digital inclusion and technological development in Chile, fostering the participation of women and girls in STEM. Additionally, PreIngeniería UC contributes through various educational and outreach experiences, bringing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics closer to and empowering children, teenagers, and teachers from secondary schools.
Hackathon Junior: Chicas Superpoderosas is a unique opportunity for more girls and young women to discover their potential in technology, enhance their creativity, and strengthen their skills for the future—helping build a more equitable and inclusive space.
